Kirkham House
ABOUT THE HOUSE
If you are looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in Robin Hood's Bay, you have come to the right place.
Kirkham House is the perfect place for a holiday to remember. Nestled on a quiet country lane in the middle of Robin Hood’s Bay, you are never far from everything that this coastal village has to offer.
The house is one of the larger properties in the lower bay. It has a large well equipped kitchen perfect for seating everyone for a family meal. The kitchen has a large range cooker, fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, microwave oven and a washer/dryer. There is a separate spacious lounge for watching TV, listening to music, playing board games or just relaxing. The lounge has a DVD player, Apple TV and for the budding musicians a piano. There are three double bedrooms and a bunk room. It has two bathrooms including one ensuite.
It also has places to sit outside of the house at the front, back and side, so it's perfect to find a sunny spot for an early morning coffee or watching the sun go down in the evening.

Whether you are a family looking for a fun filled week with the children, or a group wanting to have some quality time together, Kirkham House has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic break.
The fantastic sandy, family friendly beach is one of the highlights of Robin Hood's Bay

The stunning beach is only a minute’s walk away from the house, and the children will love hunting for crabs in rock pools and searching for fossils. The museum is also a great day out, where you can learn about the smuggling history of Robin Hood’s Bay.
Kirkham House is also only a stone’s throw away from three great pubs, a restaurant, and plenty of cafés, so you will have plenty of chance to try some delicious local food. There are also lots of craft shops and second hand book sellers in the village, so wander round the cobbled streets and see what you can find.

If you do want to venture out of the village itself, then the popular seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Ravenscar are only a short drive away. They are also easily accessible by cycling along the rail trail, if you fancy doing something active.
